This is our 7th win in our categorty ‘Urban Regeneration’ and the grroup are justly proud of their achievement once again.

North West In Bloom Neighbourhood Awards
This year we had 9 entries into the neighbourhood awards and each entry was awarded well for their efforts and the following achieved;

Inter Area Competition Awards
This competition, set up in memory of a deceased members of our group a few years ago, still continues to flourish.
This year we invited Brenda Smith, a ranger in the park. She adores flowers and knows quite a bit. Sheila Panter, who is the second judge, also loves flowers and plants. They went up an down alleyways and streets one evening and then spent an hour deciding who wins what. We have asked them to judge again this year too as they had a really enjoyable evening last year and they were delighted to accept again.
